VA loan limits in Florida

Veterans with full VA entitlement have no loan limit. They can borrow any amount a lender will approve with zero down. The VA eliminated county loan limits for full-entitlement veterans in 2020. How to apply for a VA loan in Florida

Obtain your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) at VA.gov or through your lender. Select an approved VA lender. Get pre-approved. Find a property and make an offer. The VA appraisal (called a VA Minimum Property Requirements inspection) is ordered by the lender. Close. The process takes 30–45 days and follows the same timeline as a conventional purchase.

VA funding fee

Most veterans pay a one-time VA funding fee: 2.15% for first use with zero down, 1.25% with 10% or more down. The fee is waived for veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 10% or higher. It can be financed into the loan.
